ashley founded shop in 2010 to further her belief that design and management should be holistic and inclusive of the community. being involved in the design & construction industry since 1997 has allowed her to experience projects from all sides and all angles.


ashley received her leed ap bd&c designation in 2006, became an associate aia member in 2008 and received her pmp certification in 2009.


outside of shop, ashley volunteers as the events manager for michigan retired greyhounds as pets (regap). she is also on the board of directors for the volterra-detroit foundation and serves as the associate director for aia detroit. in 2011, ashley began working on her master’s of arts in community development with a concentration in organizational development from the university of detroit mercy.
